Ubisoft, I love you. That right there is a link to the HD 360 gameplay footage of Assassin's Creed. I'm going to probably catch a lot of flak for this, but I'm willing to bet this game will out-do Halo 3. Don't get me wrong here Halo 3 is going to be an amazing game, but it will always just be an FPS.

360 has been waiting for a title like this for quite some time. There just hasn't been a good RPG for the 360 to date really. Some may argue that, but can you honestly name a blockbuster RPG that graced the 360? I can think of a couple wannabe titles that fell flat in the first week of sales.

Let's be honest. Assassin's Creed looks hot. You know it, I know it, they know it. It's going to bring aspects to gaming that are, for the most part, currently overlooked. Crowd collision? Are you serious. Of course there will be cry babies who don't like the idea. Personally I think it's going to be amazing. (Take note of the "social stealth". FINALLY! A game that doesn't directly link stealth to shadows!) The game is going to take talent to play, and I like the thought of that.

Also note around half way through the video they explore the town itself. Seemingly you are not limited to 1 dimension of the game. There are tons of varying paths to the same location. From climbing the sides of buildings to jumping off walls and swinging from poles, the game lets you interact with environment in ways most games avoid all together.
